Oregon State’s magical NCAA Tournament run ends against Houston, social media reacts

A second-half run wasn’t enough for the No. 12 seed Oregon State men’s basketball team as the Beavers saw their season come to an end with a 67-61 loss to No. 2 seed Houston in the Elite Eight of the men’s NCAA Tournament in Indianapolis.
The Beavers, who appeared in the round of eight for the first time since 1982, fell short of the school’s third Final Four berth, the last coming in 1963.
Oregon State had a long journey to Monday night. After winning the Pac-12′s automatic NCAA Tournament berth by claiming the conference tournament title, the Beavers upset No. 5 Tennessee, No. 4 Oklahoma State and No. 8 Loyola of Chicago to reach the Elite Eight.
