Oliver Mills accused of assault and death threat in Brighton

Oliver Cyril Mills was charged by police over incidents in Brighton.
He is accused of assault occasioning actual bodily harm on Gemma Carter.
The 39-year-old is also accused of criminal damage to ceramics during an alleged incident on March 11 this year.
At Lewes Crown Court it was also claimed he made a threat to kill Ms Carter, and that she feared the threat would be carried out.
Mills, of Beatty Avenue, Brighton, spoke to confirm his name during the ten-minute hearing and pleaded “not guilty” to the three charges.
He was represented by barrister Rebecca Upton during the hearing, while Edward Hand represented the Crown Prosecution Service.
His Honour Judge Martin Huseyin said Mills could face a trial in the week beginning July 26 this year.
