Virtual press conference at 3 p.m. Jakarta time
The OECD will present a new Economic Survey of Indonesia on Thursday 18 March. The Survey examines the new challenges facing the Indonesian economy as a result of the COVID-19 crisis and discusses ways to foster a strong, green and inclusive recovery. The Survey looks in depth at how investing in education and skills, and reforming the labour market, could help to raise living standards and well-being.
OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría will deliver the Survey’s key messages and take questions in a virtual news conference with Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati starting at 15:00 Jakarta time. Andrea Goldstein, Senior Economist at the OECD, will give a more detailed presentation of the Survey’s findings and recommendations, and will answer questions from press and other participants.
Working with over 100 countries, the OECD is a global policy forum that promotes policies to improve the economic and social well-being of people around the world.
