Agriculture Minister David Littleproud has said “obviously we’d welcome” a free-trade agreement with the UK, however he commented the government “won’t be rushing it”. “We’ve got 14 other free trade agreements that our government’s been able to secure,” Mr Littleproud told Sky News host Chris Smith. “And obviously we’re working with the UK to try and help them get their first one of any substance, after their Brexit exit from the EU”. “We’re working with them; we’re making sure we get it right. “We don’t need to rush it, we need to make sure that every line counts”.
