Christian, who is ambassador for Victoria Racing Club, recently praised the VRC for taking a step in the right direction by allowing guests to drop strict gender-bound rules and ‘express themselves’ how they want.

Speaking to news.com.au he said that he identifies as male, but sees all gender as ‘non-binary’.

‘I feel like [the cup carnival] was so guided by these very strict, gender-bound rules and to break that open and just allow people to express themselves how they want to be, that’s such a key ethos that I live my life by,’ he told the outlet.
