Since retiring from baseball in 2007, former MLB All-Star and Nazi apologist Curt Schilling has done everything he can to make sure the world knows how much he stinks.

That includes, but is not limited to, calling out a military veteran for his service and defrauding the state of Rhode Island for millions and millions of dollars.

Even Brett Favre looks at Schilling and goes “dude, really?”

Well, apparently Schilling was missing the spotlight this week because he decided he was going to yet again show his rear end on a national platform.

The week began with Schilling sharing antisemitic propaganda on his Twitter account. Which is nothing new for a man with a large collection of Nazi memorabilia.

(For history purposes, of course…)

But that wasn’t enough.

On Wednesday, Schilling revealed that former Red Sox teammate and legendary knuckleballer Tim Wakefield is battling brain cancer.

Except, Wakefield did not ask Schilling to share that news. In fact, Schilling specifically stated that “this is not a message that Tim has asked anyone to share, and I don’t even know if he wants it shared” before proceeding to share said message.

Schilling justified his decision by saying he is a Christian and a man of faith so he was going to talk about it.

That decision, understandably, did not sit well with others.

Particularly Catherine Varitek, the wife of Wakefield and Schilling’s former teammate, catcher Jason Varitek.

“F*** you Curt Schilling, that wasn’t your place!,” Varitek tweeted.

Many others shared her sentiments.

“Just when you thought Curt Schilling couldn’t get any lower, he breaks the news of Tim Wakefield battling brain cancer without his permission,” Twitter user @InOrioles wrote.

“Tim Wakefield has cancer and that a-hole schilling told everyone without the Wakefield family permission. F***, man,” said @RumHamSinkie.

The Red Sox later issued a statement on the matter, noting that Wakefield’s health information was “shared publicly without their permission” in regards to he and his wife Stacy.

Waita make it about you, Curt. Keep up the good work.
