‘North America shall gather in Worship’: Sleep Token tour tickets, locations
Sleep Token #SleepToken
“Prepare.”
Presale tickets for Sleep Token’s “Teeth of God” tour in North America will become available today, Wednesday, Jan. 24, at 10 a.m., local time.
The massively popular mixed-genre metal band (you’ll have to listen to get it, maybe specifically their latest album, “Take Me Back to Eden”) announced this tour in a mysterious style that befits a bunch of musicians who wear masks and hide their identities: By initially scrubbing their entire Instagram account out of nowhere.
PennLive had previously reported how rumors began to circulate that one unidentified netizen found and revealed the identity of bassist, III, online. And plenty of fans weren’t happy about it, especially when a few savvy investigators found that III’s Instagram had been scrubbed, too (the bassist has since become active again post-Teeth of God tour announcement).
“This April and May, North America shall gather in Worship once again…,” reads the band’s Instagram post.
“Those wishing to attend may register their interest at teethofgod.com to obtain their unique access code, in preparation for the exclusive presale window…”
(For context, the band is based around the story that the lead singer — Vessel — is a tortured disciple of a god named Sleep. The band’s lyrics are full of themes of worship, intense love and lust, as well as Vessel’s supposed torture as he remains awake in his devotion — or something like that — to Sleep.)
The band will be touring with Empire State Bastard, another United Kingdom-based band that Metal Injection labels as “grindcore/experiemental.”
General public tickets will, hopefully, soon follow after Wednesday’s presale.
Again, in the words of Sleep Token: “Prepare.”
