No. 20 Camden Catholic over Paul VI – Boys basketball recap

Tobe Nwobu erupted for a career-high 35 points to spark Camden Catholic, No. 20 in the NJ.com Top 20, to a 61-59 comeback win over rival Paul VI in Cherry Hill.

The hosts trailed by seven at the break but stormed back to tie the game heading into the fourth quarter and outscored Paul VI 17-15 in the final period.

Braelen Crump added 11 points to help Camden Catholic raise its record to 8-1.

Isaiah Thomas scored 17 points to lead three players in double figures for Paul VI (5-5).
