Nikola Jokic masterfully predicted and answered reporters’ questions at his own press conference

Jokic #Jokic

Nikola Jokic became the reigning NBA Finals MVP and a two-time MVP because he’s always thinking ahead. On Monday night, thanks to his superb passing ability, the Denver Nuggets superstar recorded his 108th career triple-double in a 134-116 win over the New Orleans Pelicans — officially surpassing Jason Kidd and LeBron James for the fourth-most all-time.

Jokic took his exceptional ability to predict and analyze on the fly to his postgame press conference. There, he told the gathered reporters that he already knew exactly what they would ask him and proceeded to run his own Q&A. From the performance of young Nuggets players to how he felt about passing Kidd and James, Jokic touched upon it all.

I’m not remotely exaggerating any of that, either.

The man literally shared answers to questions he thought would come up and even delivered them as if someone had asked him. He is a delightful treasure to the game of basketball, folks. What else can you say?

First, Jokic changed the game as a pass-first center with arguably the greatest offensive skill set the league has ever seen. No wonder the Nuggets are 7-1 and looking primed for a repeat title. Now, after being constantly exposed to it, he’s distilling the reporter-player dynamic.

The man can simply do it all.
