The first minister announced new rules to restrict the spread of coronavirus but insisted Scotland was not entering another lockdown.
Pubs and restaurants will not be allowed to serve alcohol indoors for 16 days, starting this Friday, and licensed premises across the central belt will close. Nicola Sturgeon said many factors needed to be taken into account, including harm to the economy, and emphasised that businesses and schools would stay open
