Former Milan striker M’Baye Niang has dropped a big hint he is returning to Serie A and Genoa, as he is ready to terminate his Adana Demirspor contract.
The forward turned 29 last month and is under contract with the Turkish side until June 2025, having only joined as a free agent in August 2023 from Auxerre.
However, after 20 competitive games for the club with eight goals and two assists, he seems determined to move on and multiple sources confirm a negotiation to terminate his contract by mutual consent.
That would leave him a free agent and it seems he has already chosen his next destination.
Although there were links also with Hellas Verona, he appears to have picked Genoa, as hinted by posting images on Instagram Stories of his last experience at Marassi, with a little heart emoji.
Niang was on loan there from Milan for six months in 2015, scoring five goals and providing three assists in just 14 appearances.
