Nia Long and Omar Epps are set to have another on-screen romance in a new Netflix thriller.

The movie, “Fatal Affair,” follows Long as Ellie, a woman trying to repair her marriage after she briefly meets an old friend, David, played by Epps. However, while she tries to make amends, she discovers David is more dangerous and unstable than she knew.

Shadow and Act obtained first-look photos from the film, which will be released on the streaming service July 16.

News of “Fatal Affair” initially emerged in October 2019, with Essence reporting the movie was due to begin filming in Los Angeles that month.

The film reunites the actors as co-stars in a thriller more than two decades after they played a couple in 1999’s “In Too Deep.” Epps and Long also appeared in 2004’s “Alfie” starring Jude Law.

But that doesn’t mean Long and Epps haven’t kept busy onscreen since then.

Epps starred in last year’s sci-fi/thriller “3022” and has a recurring role on NBC’s “This Is Us,” which also stars Atlanta native Niles Fitch.

Meanwhile, Long recently starred in the Atlanta-produced drama “The Banker” opposite former Morehouse College student Samuel L. Jackson. She also appeared in Netflix’s “#BlackAF,” from “black-ish” creator Kenya Barris.
