NFL fines Cowboys LB, Bills duo for unnecessary roughness in Week 15 matchup

A physical Week 15 matchup in Western New York resulted in a few NFL-mandated fines for several players.
Cowboys linebacker Damone Clark was fined $5,170 for unnecessary roughness on a play that occurred late in the first quarter of Dallas’ meeting with the Buffalo Bills. With 11 seconds left in the quarter, Clark hit Bills running back James Cook as he was heading to the sideline.

Two Bills players received separate unnecessary roughness fines for hits on Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. Linebacker Tyrel Dodson was fined $11,167 after hitting a sliding Prescott in the second quarter.

The other Buffalo player fined was safety Taylor Rapp. His $21,855 fine came from another hit on a Prescott slide, but that one took place in the first quarter.
Cowboys fans may remember the play as one where offensive guard Zack Martin immediately ran toward the sideline and pushed Rapp in defense of Prescott.

The Cowboys face another road challenge in Week 16, facing the speedy Miami Dolphins at 3:25 p.m. Sunday in South Florida.
