Best Jared Goff passing prop: Over 24.5 completions (+100 or better)
The Buccaneers’ defense is among the league leaders vs. the run, allowing 95 yards per week. When Detroit beat Tampa Bay 20-6 in Week 6, Goff and Co. only found success through the air, and the same will likely happen on Sunday.
The Lions rushed for 40 measly yards while Goff unleashed a 30-completion, 353-yard, two-touchdown performance. Tampa Bay surrenders the fourth-highest passing yards per game, and Detroit will be comfortable deploying a similar offensive game plan in the rematch.
The Bucs crushed the Eagles 32-9 last week, and Jalen Hurts still managed to complete 25 throws. Goff hasn’t surpassed 24 completions often this season, yet there’s reason to feel confident he’ll achieve that mark.
Top Josh Allen player prop: Anytime touchdown scorer (-115 or better)
Allen took a conservative approach to running the ball early in the season, potentially to preserve his health for the postseason. In the final six games of the year, when the Bills were clawing to earn a playoff berth, Allen carried the ball eight times or more in five games.
Another successful outing with his legs in the wild card vs. Pittsburgh should motivate Allen to keep playing loose. The 27-year-old had 74 rushing yards, including a 52-yard touchdown scamper.
Allen’s 16 touchdowns are the second-most in the NFL, running backs included, and he’s plowed through the goal line in all but five games.
Patrick Mahomes rushing prop prediction: Longest rush to be over 13.5 yards (-120 or better)
One of the devastating factors when playing Mahomes is his ability to evade the rush when the pocket shifts, and even when pass catchers are well-covered, he can scramble out of pressure and make plays with his feet. Mahomes did so against the Dolphins, rushing twice for 41 yards, including a 28-yard gain.
Patrick’s longest rush in a game has been over 13 yards 10 times this year, and injuries have decimated Buffalo’s defense. Head coach Sean McDermott has already announced three defenders will be sidelined, with many more landing on Buffalo’s injury report.
