SABINA — A new, optimized residential recycling drop-off location was officially opened to the public on Wednesday.

The new location — adjacent to the Sabina Public Pool, at 449 S. Jackson St., Sabina — was made possible through a partnership between the Village of Sabina officials and Clinton County Solid Waste Management District.

The new location is more centrally located, equipped with remotely monitored security cameras and also features attractive screening.

All these measures are designed to create a better experience for the community’s recyclers, while also ensuring that the site is not abused by opportunistic dumpers, which better ensures that the integrity of the recyclables is uncompromised, according to the SWMD.
