Nets vs. Warriors score: Live updates as Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving take on Stephen Curry on opening night

After a shortened offseason, the NBA tipped off the 2020-21 season Tuesday night with quite the doubleheader. In what should be one of two intriguing games on the night, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets kicked things off against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors at Barclays Center.

While he is coming off a major injury, Durant has looked like his old self so far as he and Kyrie Irving have set the tone for the Nets on the offensive end to help Brooklyn get out to a comfortable lead over Curry and the Warriors in the early going. On the other side, the lone Splash Brother is clearly missing Klay Thompson and Draymond Green as Golden State has struggled to provide Curry with the type of help he needs on the offensive end to keep Golden State from facing a double-digit deficit.
