Thiruvananthapuram: Ayiroor police on Wednesday arrested two men from Nepal for stealing gold ornaments and money from a house at Hariharapuram after drugging the all family members on Tuesday night. Police said they are part of a five-member gang and the search has been intensified for the other three accused who are also from Nepal, including a woman who had started working as a maid at the house two weeks ago. The arrested have been identified by police as Janaksha, 42, and Ramkumar, 48.
