Neighbours’ Karl Kennedy is suspected of attacking Olivia Bell on UK screens next week, after Olivia ends up in a coma.

Susan Kennedy has been collaborating on Olivia’s new and more truthful version of The Devil You Know, the controversial book about Finn Kelly’s crimes, but Olivia reacts badly when Susan pulls out.

This leads to a heated confrontation between Karl and Olivia – one that leaves Karl looking guilty.

In upcoming scenes on Channel 5, Susan (Jackie Woodburne) makes it clear that she won’t be a part of Olivia’s (Alyce Platt) new book.

Susan’s decision, supported by her husband Karl (Alan Fletcher), comes after her visions of Finn became frightening and out of control.

Unfortunately for the Kennedys, Olivia refuses to accept the decision and relentlessly tries to get Susan to change her mind.

Karl grows increasingly furious at Olivia for continuing to harass Susan, and he publicly raises his voice and tells her off in The Waterhole.

But this doesn’t deter Olivia.

Olivia heads to Erinsborough High to speak to Susan in person. When Karl hears about this, he heads to the school to confront her once more – with dire consequences.

Karl lets his anger get the better of him by yelling in Olivia’s face. An intimidated Olivia backs away from him, only to trip and fall down the stairs.

A shocked Karl rushes to Olivia’s aid at the bottom of the stairs and tries to explain to Susan that it was an accident.

Olivia is unconscious and rushed to hospital, as Levi Canning (Richie Morris) begins to investigate what happened.
