Need a last-minute Halloween costume? Dress up as one of these famous Texans

Halloween #Halloween

Oct. 31 is right around the corner and some people may still not have a Halloween costume pinned down. That said, for people in the Lone Star State, dressing up as one of these famous Texans might be the perfect last-minute Halloween costume idea.

Selena

Tejano music fans can add a little “Bidi bidi bom bom” to this year’s Halloween by dressing up a music legend and Texas native Selena. Selena could be the perfect costume idea for someone with long dark hair, but buying a black wig is also an option. The full ensemble will require red lipstick and potentially a black jacket or the singer’s signature purple bell bottoms.

Alright, alright, alright. Texas native Matthew McConaughey offers no shortage of Halloween costume ideas for partygoers including the classic role in “Dazed and Confused” as well as the sports fan often seen at University of Texas happenings.

To complete the latter look, throw on a UT bright orange T-shirt or perhaps a full burnt orange suit, McConaughey’s signature tinted sunglasses, a cowboy hat and boots.
