Neal O’Donnell helps highlight the heart of the trouble – a GOP that went rogue

A big thank-you to Neal O’Donnell for his excellent Jan. 27 op-ed, “Donald Trump’s own words, spoken over many months, impeach him.” He rightfully points to the salient words of a bona fide Republican conservative, U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney, when she said of Donald Trump, “He lit the flame.”

Having grown up Republican in the middle of Ohio, I have become so disenchanted, between Ohio House Bill 6 and the Jan. 6 riot in Washington, D.C. I cannot imagine how I could ever vote for a Republican again. They have no concern for us as an electorate, as they have proven over and over. It’s done for me, I’m cutting the cord.
