NCT DREAM’s sold-out three-night concert at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome has been cancelled.

On the evening of July 27, SM Entertainment officially announced that Renjun had been diagnosed with COVID-19, making him the second member of NCT DREAM to test positive after Mark.

NCT DREAM was originally scheduled to perform for three nights from July 29 to 31 at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul this weekend, and all three shows were fully sold out.

However, while NCT DREAM had initially planned to move forward with their upcoming concert “THE DREAM SHOW 2 : In A Dream” without Mark, the three-night show has now been cancelled following the news of Renjun’s diagnosis.

SM Entertainment’s full statement is as follows:

Hello.

Today (July 27), NCT’s Renjun was diagnosed with COVID-19.

Renjun noticed unusual symptoms and a change in his condition today, so he used a self-test kit, and his result was positive. He therefore underwent PCR testing right away, and he was ultimately diagnosed with COVID-19. Renjun has received three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and he immediately halted all of his scheduled activities and is currently undergoing treatment at home in self-quarantine in accordance with the guidelines of government health authorities.

As a result, we are informing you that NCT DREAM’s second solo concert “THE DREAM SHOW 2 : In A Dream” that was scheduled for July 29 to 31 has inevitably been cancelled. Although all of the NCT DREAM members and staff worked hard to prepare a concert that would live up to the expectations of the fans who had been waiting for this concert, we regretfully came to the unavoidable decision that within the current situation, we would not be able to put on the best possible concert, so we ask for fans’ deep and generous understanding. All of the tickets sold will be fully refunded, and we will inform of you the details through the ticketing platform [used to purchase tickets].

Our agency will continue to adhere strictly to the guidelines of health authorities in the future as well, and we will consider our artists’ health and safety our top priority and do our utmost to help them focus entirely on their treatment and recovery.

Thank you.

Wishing both Renjun and Mark the speediest of recoveries!
