Giannis Antetokounmpo is staying with the Milwaukee Bucks.
The two-time reigning NBA MVP winner will sign a supermax contract extension with the Bucks that is reportedly worth $228.2 million over five years. It’s a massive win for the Bucks, who drafted Antetokounmpo in 2013 and have helped develop him into one of the league’s top three players.
The Bucks have not yet reached the NBA Finals with Antetokounmpo, but they came close in 2018-19 and should continue to knock on that door over the next few years now that he’s committed to the franchise.
