Hawks #Hawks

Maybe he really is magic.

Luka Doncic broke his own franchise record on Friday night with a stunning 73-point performance in the Mavericks’ win over the Atlanta Hawks. The same Atlanta Hawks that traded Doncic to the Mavericks on draft night, not-so-long ago.

Here are some of the national reactions to Doncic’s record-setting night, including from Dirk Nowitzki, Draymond Green and more.

Along with tying the 4th highest scoring game in NBA history with 73 points, Luka Doncic broke:

His own Mavs record of 60.The State Farm Arena record of 55 (Kevin Durant). The Hawks opp record of 67 (Wilt Chamberlain in 1962).

It’s the most in a game since Kobe’s 81 in 2006.

I refuse to believe it is a coincidence that both Devin Booker and Luka Doncic have more than 60 points each, the same night, following the game Luka had an altercation with that fan in the Booker jersey.
