Toby Carvery’s solution: a scheme that allows little ones to eat for just £1 with a voucher you can grab off their app – the deal expires today (1 September).
It includes children’s mains they’ll love – yummy veggie fingers, a chicken burger, mac ‘n’ cheese, tomato and meatball pasta, as well as three sausages with a Yorkshire pudding as well as as unlimited veggies and potatoes from the Carvery deck.
According to the website’s Ts&Cs, this means ‘Upon presentation of a voucher, guests will be able to purchase children’s main meals for £1. This will allow up to 2 children per party to have a main meal for £1 per full paying adult. This does not include drinks.’
Her post said: ”I’ve just seen this on the Toby Carvery app.
”Thought it might come in useful for those with kids/grandkids/etc.”

However mum-of-four Stephanie Ng was quick to comment and warn other parents that they needed to be careful when it came to washing down the bargain scran.
”Just don’t buy drinks – ask for tap water!” she warned.
”We made the mistake of asking for drinks a few years ago and added about £20 to the bill.”
If tap water just isn’t quenching their thirst the menu and you want to treat them, options include:
Pip’s Organic Strawberry & Banana Smoothie, Pip’s Organic Pineapple & Mango Smoothie (V) (VE), Fruit Shoot® Orange
Orange with real fruit and no added sugar, Fruit Shoot® Apple & Blackcurrant and Robinsons Apple & Blackcurrant Squash – just remember you’ll need to fork out a little bit more than your £1 deal.
