Multiple vehicles hit by gunfire in High Ridge Walmart parking lot; suspects detained

HIGH RIDGE, Mo. — Multiple vehicles were damaged after gunshots were fired on the parking lot of the Walmart supermarket in High Ridge Monday evening.
There were no reported injuries and the people believed to be involved in the incident were in custody.
According to a post made on X by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, shots were fired just before 8 pm. on the parking lot of Walmart located at 2700 Ridge Point Drive in High Ridge.
No one was injured. Those believed to be involved were being detained and questioned.
There were a number of vehicles that had appeared to be hit by the gunfire, the sheriff’s office said.
Police said they believed that this incident was a “domestic situation” from preliminary information. They said there was no further danger to the public.
