Quebecers don’t get the day off for Family Day, though it’s a day off in most other provinces. We can celebrate by checking the status of the slushy neighbourhood rink and signing up for an awesome parenting newsletter.

Quebec’s next statutory holiday is Good Friday, April 7.

Expect a high of 4 C during the day, with a few showers. At night, a low of minus-12 C with a few clouds.

As the sun makes ice melt, kindness causes misunderstanding, mistrust and hostility to evaporate.
