Monday TV Wrap: Malcolm Turnbull Rousing On ScoMo Draws Viewers To 7.30

ABC’s 7.30 drew in big numbers last night! Who doesn’t love ex-prime ministers feuding with ex-prime ministers?

Although it was ultimately no match for Nine’s The Block that demolished entertainment.

Before, anyone gets mad! I swear, I just used the word demolished because it is fitting. Meanwhile, Seven’s My Kitchen Rules continues to simmer, and 10’s The Masked Singer hit the right note!

But let’s break it down. Shall we?

In the news, news, Seven News grabbed 985,000 eyeballs, and Nine News earned 840,000 viewers.

Nine’s A Current Affair scored 697,000 viewers. Grimshaw needs a gift basket immediately. She deserves to be showered with presents for her efforts. 

As per OzTAM’s metro numbers, Seven’s The Chase brought in 567,000 viewers, and My Kitchen Rules pulled in 513,000 viewers – Nigella is absolutely an icon, and has anyone seen Manu’s holiday pics? He is living! 

For Nine, The Block pulled in 805,000 viewers – And I want Scotty Cam to narrate my life for me.  Hot Seat grabbed 398,000 viewers. 

For 10, Have You Been Paying Attention pulled in 627,000 viewers.  

The Project pulled in 390,000 viewers, and The Masked Singer brought in 526,000 viewers – Emma Wiggle is everywhere! Also, I should probably stop calling her Emma Wiggle. 

Finally, ABC had a strong news night ABC News, netting 679,000 viewers and 7.30 earned 581,000 viewers – Turnbull was very grumpy with Morrison, and Ferguson held her own. 

Meanwhile, Media Watch pulled in 413.000 viewers. Back Roads also brought in 520,000 viewers. 

Out on top was the Nine Network with 28.8 per cent. Seven Network was behind with 25.7 per cent of the daily share. Followed by the 10 Network with 19.7 per cent. 

Followed by ABC Network with 18.6 per cent of the share, while SBS had 7.2 per cent
