Jimmy Garoppolo will have a lot of people cheering for him tonight, and it won’t be just fans of the San Francisco 49ers.
The Niners quarterback is also likely to make those folks some money.
Reported early this afternoon by DraftKings is that Garoppolo over 1.5 passing touchdowns (-125) is the most bet on player prop (not including TDs) for the Week 11 wrap-up game featuring the Niners and Arizona Cardinals from Mexico City.
Before throwing zero TD passes in last week’s win over the Chargers, Garoppolo had a streak of four games in which he threw a pair of scoring passes each time out.
While the Cardinals passes defence is ranked 23rd in average yards allowed per game, they have also allowed 17 TD passes through the air in its first 10 games – more than all but four NFL teams.
Garoppolo has thrown a total of 13 TD passes in his last five games against Arizona.
Round out the Top 5 most bet upon player props not involving touchdowns tonight are Brandon Aiyuk over 55.5 receiving yards (-115), Robbie Gould over 7.5 kicking points (-110), Christian McCaffrey over 4.5 receptions (-130) and McCaffrey over 65.5 rushing yards (+110).
