ONE MORE LOOK AT THIS FORECAST. DANIEL: IT IS GOING TO BE A NICE START TO THE WEEK. IF YOU HAVE THE HOLIDAY OFF, YOU WILL ENJOY ANOTHER NICE DAY OFF AS TEMPERATURES WARM UP OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. IT IS GOING TO BE FEELING MORE SPRINGLIKE THAN WINTER LIKE AS WE GET INTO NEXT WEEK. IT AND RADAR IS QUIET AS IT HAS BEEN ALL WEEKEND. NOT MUCH EVEN IN THE WAY OF CLOUDS. AS WE WIDENED THE VIEW, NOT TOO MUCH HAPPENING ACROSS MUCH OF THE SOUTHEAST AND AS WE LOOK OFF FOR THE LAST. THE COLDEST AIR TO THE NORTH. THE NORTHERN HALF OF THE U.S. SEEN 20’S, 30’S, AND 40’S, WHILE YOU SEE WARMER TEMPERATURES SHIPPING UP ACROSS THE SOUTH. THAT WILL BE THE CASE IN THE COMING DAYS. I LIVE LOOK OUTSIDE AT THE SUPERDOME THAT IS ABOUT TO BE VERY ACTIVE WITH THE PLAYOFF GAME AGAINST THE BOX – BUCKS. SPRING WILL MAKE A RETURN AND ALSO THE RETURN OF SLIGHT RAIN CHANCES LATER INTO THE WEEK. HIGH TEMPERATURES BACK INTO THE 70’S BY TUESDAY. WARMING BY THURSDAY UP TO 73, WELL ABOVE WHERE WE NORMALLY ARE FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. AS WE CHECK OF THE FORECAST THROUGH THE NIGHT, MAINLY CLEAR. THAT WILL ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO DROP. WE HAD FREEZING TEMPERATURES. WE SAW 29 IN BOGALUSA A, 30 IN HAMMOND AND SLIDELL. — IN BOGALUSA, 30 IN HAMMOND AND SLIDELL. LOTS OF SUNSHINE. WE WILL BE WARMING INTO THE MID 60’S AREAWIDE. WARMER TUESDAY MORNING BUT WE STILL HAVE THE CHILL WITH TEMPERATURES INTO THE 40’S ON BOTH SIDES OF THE LAKE. I WEDNESDAY, WE AT IN A FEW SHOWERS. WE GET — BY WEDNESDAY, WE ADDED IN A FEW SHOWERS. THAT WILL HAPPEN BY THE MIDDLE PART OF THE WEEK. A LOT OF RAIN WILL LIFT UP AND OVER US AS WE HAVE HIGH PRESSURE IN THE GULF OF MEXICO. THERE MAY BE A STRAIGHT SHOWER ON WEDNESDAY. BY FRIDAY, THE FRONT STARTS TO MOVE IN AND THAT WILL BRING HEAVIER RAINFALL FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING WITH LINGERING SHOWERS TOWARD THE COAST ON SATURDAY. BY SUNDAY, RAINFALL STAYING TO THE WEST. NO RAINFAL TODAY. AN ENGINE HALF BELOW NORMAL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. — AND INCH AND A HALF BELOW NORMAL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. WE WILL GET ANOTHER LOOK AT THIS BY THE END OF NEXT WEEK. FOR ALLERGY SUFFERERS, TREE POLLEN HIGH AND ADDING CEDAR IN THE MIX WITH JUNIPER AND MOLD SPORES IN THE LOW CATEGORY. Get ready for a chilly start to the week, and then temperatures will begin to warm up in the days ahead.Tonight, clear sky and cold temps, falling to near freezing on the Northshore, upper 30s to low 40s south of the lake.For Monday, abundant sunshine and highs in the mid 60s.By Tuesday, we make a return to highs in the 70s, and that will continue through the end of the week. Some slight rain chances start to return by Wednesday.
