MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Good morning!! Happy MLK Day to you and yours. This morning we are starting out cold in the 30s and 40s with cloud coverage. Today will not be bad across Middle Georgia with temperatures in the low to mid 60s with mostly cloudy skies. Any MLK Day plans look good, however  a light jacket may be needed for some this afternoon. Overnight we will be in the upper 30s to low 40s with the possibility of a stray shower. All of the winter precipitation will stay to our north. Tomorrow will be a very cold day with temperatures in the upper 40s with real feels in the upper 20s low 30s. Winds will be out of the northwest at 10-15 mph gusting up to 20 mph. Temperature will not warm up overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, however they will get colder anywhere from 18-22 degrees with real feels in the teens. A few spots in our northern counties could become even colder than that. It may be a good idea to check on pets, pipes, and people as temperatures are dangerous if not prepared. Thursday we will continue to see temperatures very cold across Middle Georgia. On Friday we are back into the 50s with most in the middle 50s. This weekend brings another cold front with lows in the 20s with highs in the 40s. Have a great day!!
