MILFORD, MA — After more than a year under pandemic restrictions, Milford is ready to reopen Town Hall.

The Select Board of Tuesday signed off on a plan to reopen the main municipal building beginning June 1. Gov. Charlie Baker is lifting all coronavirus restrictions on May 29 due to a drop in coronavirus cases and high vaccination rates across the state.

Milford Town Hall has mostly been closed during the pandemic, but has reopened in limited ways since the first wave began in March 2020. In recent weeks, the building has only been open on Mondays and Thursdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Town Hall is closed on weekends, but here are the weekday hours:

  • Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays — 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Wednesdays — 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Fridays — 8 to 11:30 a.m.
