A video of Miles Teller doing his Top Gun: Maverick dance at a Philadelphia Phillies game has gone viral.
On Sunday, October 23, the Major League Baseball team beat the San Diego Padres 4-3 to win the National League Championship for the first time in 13 years. They’ll now go head-to-head against the Houston Astros in the World Series beginning on Friday.
Bryce Harper hit the dramatic game-winning, eighth-inning home run, which left the home crowd cheering.
“Philly, we did it, let’s go! Four more,” Harper said in a video posted by the Phillies, referring to the number of games out of seven they need to win to beat the Astros. “Let’s go have some fun, huh now?”

According to NBC, Harper signed a 13-year, $330 million contract with the Phillies in 2019.
Lifelong Phillies fan Teller, famous for starring in films like Whiplash and Fantastic Four, attended game five of the NLC Series at Citizens Bank Park.
TikTok user Michaela Hutton, who has over 12,000 followers on the platform, posted a video of the actor, 35, shimmying alongside a Tom Cruise look-alike which has since gone viral.
“Miles Teller doing the Top Gun dance at the Phillies playoff game,” the clip read.
“@keleighteller help im in love with your husband #milesteller #topgun #phillies,” Hutton added in the caption.
The Pennsylvania native met actress Keleigh Sperry at a party for The Black Keys in 2013. The couple wed in September 2019.
At the time of publication, the video had garnered more than 600,000 views.
“Was Tom Cruise there?” one person asked in the comments, to which Hutton replied, “No just a guy in the costume!! Lmao.”
“Love him,” someone else said underneath the post, while a third added, “All of a sudden I’m a Phillies fan.”
Teller’s shirtless scene from Top Gun: Maverick went viral earlier in 2022. During an interview with Extra’s Renee Bargh in June, Teller responded to the online reaction.
“That’s really a dance that me and my buddies have kind of done just to, whenever everybody’s dancing very seriously, it’s always something we would do to break the ice a little bit.”
The MTV Movie and TV Awards nominee then hinted that the dance was spontaneous, noting he wasn’t aware he was being filmed.
“I didn’t even know the camera was on me at that point, to be honest with you, so it was a nice surprise when I saw the film.”
“It’s iconic, it’s like a really iconic moment,” Bargh replied, to which Teller said, “Cool, cool. Good! Well, it’s Top Gun, man, hopefully you get an iconic moment or two.”
Top Gun: Maverick premiered in U.S. theaters on May 27 and has since grossed more than $1.4 billion worldwide, Variety reported.
