Mike entered the jungle on Sunday as the show, hosted by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, returned to Australia.

The former rugby player is the first member of the Royal Family in the show’s history to become a campmate.

Discussing how Mike’s appearance will impact the Royal Family, Jack claimed: “I think this is going to embarrass the Royal Family as it blows up that mystery, mystique and enigma that surrounds them.

“The other situation is we are waiting for [Prince] Harry’s memoir, it’s going to come out and it’s going to be full of all these bombshells.

“If you look, he is very friendly with all the members of the Royal Family and from a PR point of view, this is a great thing for them as all eyes are going to be on The Crown, all eyes are going to be on Harry’s book, and actually this is a really positive way of showing [Mike’s] a really fun person who is part of a great family.”

Mike, 44, has entered the jungle with the likes of Boy George, Charlene White, Sue Cleaver, Chris Moyles, Scarlette Douglas, Jill Scott and Babatunde Aleshe.

Love Island star Olivia Attwood had to exit the programme following medical tests and former Health Secretary Matt Hancock is yet to enter the camp.

Mike has already shared details about how he met Zara during his time around the campfire with the other celebrities.

The father-of-three said: “[For our] first actual date, [we] just went out for lunch locally and ended up being quite a boozy one. Then we figured out that we both quite like getting smashed. It was a good start.”

Reflecting on how he met Zara back in 2003, he said on the show: “I was at the World Cup, she was out watching.

“I got dropped from the semi-final and I was p****d off and so I went for a beer with another guy who got dropped and a guy who was over [in Sydney]. They’d met her before and they introduced us and then got chatting.”

Good Morning Britain airs on weekdays between 6am and 9am on ITV.
