MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell claimed the FBI seized his phone on Tuesday.

The businessman said the encounter happened at a Hardee’s drive-thru on his way home from Iowa in Mankato, Minnesota.

MIKE LINDELL POURS MILLIONS TOWARD MORE ELECTION FRAUD CLAIMS: REPORT

“I open my door, and I say, ‘Who are you?’ And he says, ‘We’re FBI,'” Lindell recalled on his show, The Lindell Report. He said the FBI agents showed him their badges upon request and told him to pull over.

“He goes, ‘We’re taking your cellphone. We have a warrant for your cellphone.’ I go, ‘No.’ I said, ‘My whole company — I run five companies off of that. I don’t have a computer. My hearing aids run off of this. Everything runs off of my phone,'” Lindell said. “I said, ‘If I don’t give it to you, will you arrest me then?'”

At that point, the agents apparently handed him the search warrant for his phone.

Lindell said he was advised by his lawyer, whom he was allowed to call, to hand over his phone to the FBI. He added that he wasn’t given a chance to back up his phone.

Lindell claimed the agents asked him questions about Colorado and Dominion Voting Systems machines, hinting at the purpose of the phone’s seizure.

“Without commenting on this specific matter, I can confirm that the FBI was at that location executing a search warrant authorized by a federal judge,” an FBI spokesperson told the Washington Examiner.

Lindell, who is an ally of former President Donald Trump and a booster of his claims of a stolen election, said in January that his phone records were subpoenaed by the House Jan. 6 committee. Lindell was sued for defamation by Dominion over claims about rigging the 2020 election.

“Breaking News: Mike Lindell, ‘THE Pillow Guy,’ was just raided by the FBI. We are now officially living in a Weaponized Police State, Rigged Elections, and all,” Trump said on his Truth Social account on Tuesday. “Our Country is a laughing stock all over the World. The majesty of the United States is gone. Can’t let this happen. TAKE BACK AMERICA!”

If the FBI is seeking records from Lindell related to the 2020 election or the Capitol riot, it would be the latest overt action in a broad expansion of its Jan. 6 investigation.

The Justice Department issued 40 subpoenas in the past week, a broad expansion of the inquiry roughly two months before the November midterm elections, the New York Times reported Monday. The phones of two former Trump advisers, Boris Epshteyn and Mike Roman, were seized as evidence, per the report.
