Michigan is a 7.5-point favorite in the game, according to Tipico Sportsbook.

The Wolverines are -310 on the moneyline. The Horned Frogs are +250.

The over/under for the game is set at 58 points.

Bill Bender writes: “The line has dropped a point from its opening. The Horned Frogs won outright as underdogs against Oklahoma and Texas this season. TCU allowed an average of 218.5 yards rushing to Baylor and then against Kansas State in the Big 12 championship game. Michigan has a better rushing attack then both. Max Duggan will keep the Horned Frogs in this game, but J.J. McCarthy will also have success in the air. We’re betting that the Wolverines – who have a +206 point differential after halftime. Jim Harbaugh gets his national championship shot with the Wolverines.”

Bookies.com: Take Michigan to cover vs. TCU

Dan Kilbridge writes: “But we saw what McCarthy did against Ohio State, hitting several explosive plays downfield for 263 passing yards and three touchdowns. He might not be good enough to lead the Wolverines past a top-ranked Georgia defense in a hypothetical championship matchup, but he’s enough of a passing threat that Michigan should keep the TCU defense guessing all day.”

Lance Patton writes: “The TCU defense is going to struggle with Michigan’s run game, and as Michigan has done all season they’ll control the clock, wear down the defense, and pull away in the second half for a win.”

More:TCU eager for Fiesta Bowl matchup with unbeaten Michigan

Shawn Windsor writes: “Duggan is a big, tough quarterback. Who is not like any other in the Big Ten and he will keep this a game for a while. But the Horned Frogs have not seen a defense like Michigan’s and McCarthy and Edwards are not gonna lose in the semifinals for a second year in a row.”

Betsperts.com: Go with TCU with the points vs. Michigan

Dan Weiner writes: “Our pick to win this game is Michigan, and we expect that TCU will cover the spread (Michigan -8). Finally, we see the scoring in this one going over the posted total of 58.5 points.”

It writes: “Michigan has been the second-best team in the country all year and will continue to roll against TCU. TCU had too many issues with Kansas State and will struggle immensely against Michigan. Look from Michigan to control this game from the opening minutes as they coast to an easy win and cover to punch their ticket to the national championship.”
