Michigan signee Durral Brooks scores 36 to lead GR Catholic Central past Ottawa Hills

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – By halftime, Ottawa Hills’ players could’ve made an educated guess on what Durral “Phat Phat” Brooks ate for his pregame meal.

For a full four quarters, the Bengals got up in Brooks’ grill and hounded him everywhere on the court in an effort to slow down the future Michigan Wolverine, but it was to no avail, as the 6-foot-2 point guard scored 36 points in Grand Rapids Catholic Central’s 65-53 road win Tuesday.
