Melissa Gorga Can’t “Get Used To” Luis “Louie” Ruelas for This Reason

Luis “Louie” Ruelas tried to mediate a peace agreement between Teresa Giudice and Joe and Melissa Gorga on the March 28 episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but it ended in “chaos.”

After disagreeing about whether Melissa’s mom, Donna Marco, should have been invited to Teresa and Louie’s August wedding, the family members got into a heated exchange at Rachel Fuda’s Jersey Shore brunch.

While all parties involved wanted to “fix it,” the conversation concluded with Melissa saying that it felt like her sister-in-law had “deep hate in her heart,” Louie calling Joe a “bitch boy,” and Joe claiming that their family “became the biggest disappointment in life.” Melissa and Joe then left the brunch early, but all the Jersey ’Wives broke down the heated argument during the RHONJ After Show.

Melissa noted that her chatting with Louie in the first place “seem[ed] very dramatic,” and she revealed why she doesn’t think she “can get used” to him.

“It was strange, like his drastic forms of emotion are strange,” she said on the After Show. “It’s something that I don’t know that I can get used to without thinking something’s really weird about it.”

Melissa also noted that she’s been struggling to understand Louie’s point of view because she thinks it keeps changing.

“It’s like you almost want to believe, ‘Oh, he’s hurt inside.’ But it doesn’t make sense if you listen to what he said earlier. He had a conversation with my nieces earlier saying we were horrible people. And then in the next breath, he’s telling Teresa she’s wrong,” she continued. “Which is it?”

The Envy by Melissa Gorga boutique owner added that she felt like the conversation with Louie was “strange,” particularly because she believes that the “core” of the issue is really just between Teresa and Joe.

“They have a tumultuous siblinghood,” she said, adding that anyone who thinks otherwise is “beyond.”

But while Melissa may not have appreciated Louie’s effort, Teresa was happy that he wanted to bring the family members back together.

“I kept seeing my poor fiancé keep trying and trying and trying… I felt bad for him,” the RHONJ OG said. “He got upset and was actually crying. He can’t believe the behavior from my brother.”

While fans have known for quite some time that the drama between the siblings and their respective spouses is still ongoing, they are now getting to see what exactly went down amongst the foursome ahead of Louie and Teresa’s wedding.
