Marvel Studios has unveiled a few tidbits as well as its first Eternals footage in a sizzle reel intended to entice audiences to return to movie theaters as they reopen.

Marvel revealed that the upcoming sequel to Black Panther will be titled Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The film, due out July 8, 2022, follows the untimely death of star Chadwick Boseman in July. Filmmaker Ryan Coogler reworked the script following Boseman’s passing, and star Lupita Nyong’o noted recently, “the way which he has reshaped the second movie is so respectful of the loss we’ve all experienced as a cast and as a world.”

Meanwhile, Captain Marvel II has been titled The Marvels. Once again starring Brie Larson, the film will also include teenage hero Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani), who will first be introduced in her own Disney+ show. Actor Teyonah Parris, a breakout from WandaVision, also stars as Monica Rambeau. The Marvels, due out Nov. 11, 2022, is from filmmaker Nia Dacosta.

Marvel also set release dates for filmmaker Peyton Reed’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which is set for Feb. 17, 2023, and James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, due out May 5, 2023.

The sizzle reel includes the first footage from The Eternals, the Nov. 5 film from Oscar winning Nomadland filmmaker Chloé Zhao. It also features looks at Black Widow, which on July 9 becomes Marvel Studios’ first theatrical release in two years, and the upcoming Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, out Sept. 3.
