‘I’m the most understanding person here, I think I can say that, and I think most of you will agree with me,’ she began.
Speaking out: Married At First Sight’s Melissa Rawson, 31, raced to her ‘husband’ Bryce Ruthven’s defence after he stormed out during Wednesday night’s episode
Melissa continued: ‘I know what you see doesn’t make sense, because I see him behind the scenes.’
Melissa went on to add that she often has ‘heated discussions’ with her ‘husband’ about his behaviour.
She then turned her attention to Tuesday night’s drama after Bryce kissed Rebecca Zemek on the cheek.
‘The thing with Bec and the thing with [her husband] Jake [Edwards], the first thing I said when we walked off alone was, “Why the hell did you do that?”, she explained.

Strong: ‘I’m the most understanding person here, I think I can say that, and I think most of you will agree with me,’ she began
Melissa went on to further defend Bryce explaining, ‘It was just in a spur-of-the-moment thing’ and that Bryce was ‘just being a smart-arse’.
‘He just didn’t think in that moment, and it’s completely gone the wrong way,’ she said.
She continued: ‘I know how Bryce appears. He has been involved in so much from the beginning, but people have played a part in it as well.’
Understanding: ‘I know what you see doesn’t make sense, because I see him behind the scenes,’ she said
Different: Melissa went on to further defend Bryce explaining, ‘It was just in a spur-of-the-moment thing’ and that Bryce was ‘just being a smart-arse’
‘I’m not saying that he’s not responsible for a lot of it, I get it, but you cannot label him as being constantly aggressive.’
‘I get it. I honestly do. The dinner parties, the commitment ceremonies – it has been horrific…’
Melissa then divulged that the couple have spoken about the possibility of moving in together after the experiment and even spoken about having children.

‘While that doesn’t mean anything to you, that’s huge for us,’ she said.
‘I’m gonna support him, because I came into the experiment, legitimately.’
It comes after Rebecca Zemek refused to accept Bryce’s apology for planting an unwanted kiss on Beck’s cheek during the couples recent getaway.
‘I’m happy to apologise for what I did. It was inappropriate, and I’ve been a big advocate on the experiment for respect towards women, and I went against what I said,’ he told her.
Sorry: After sitting down for dinner, Bryce (pictured) attempted to apologise for previously planting an unwanted kiss on Beck’s cheek
Not having it: As the rest of the group praised Bryce’s apology, Beck Zemek, 27, (left) refused to accept it and told him in no uncertain terms: ‘Absolutely not’
Bryce continued: ‘I apologise for what I did. It was inappropriate, and I’m sorry you felt uncomfortable, if you did feel that way.’
Bryce acknowledged that he’d ‘crossed a line’, and claimed he was ‘just being a smart a**e’ when he kissed her.
But as the rest of the group praised Bryce’s apology, Beck, 27, refused to accept it and told him in no uncertain terms: ‘Absolutely not.’
Walking out: A furious Bryce then stood up and stormed out, before angrily ordering the show’s producers to take his mic pack off him
