Lucinda, an MC and wedding celebrant who also runs her own speed-dating company, and Timothy, a business man who owns a gin distillery, were matched by a team of relationship experts, and met for the first time on their wedding day.

They initially shared a spark, with Timothy opening up about why none of his family were present at the ceremony. But things took a slight turn on their honeymoon, with him admitting he wasn’t super attracted to Lucinda. They also struggled to form any kind of intimate bond, despite Lucinda’s desire to form a sexual relationship with Timothy.

While the pair are seemingly getting closer in lots of ways by the day, a source told So Dramatic that unfortunately the pair eventually decided they were better off as friends. “Lucinda and Timothy aren’t still together romantically but they are the best of friends,” the insider said.

“They catch up all the time for dinner, at least once a week, enjoy each other’s company and hang out as much as they can. They also speak on the phone daily, and Timothy confides in Lucinda a lot.”

In a recent interview, Timothy shared something similar, confirming the two were still hanging out, but was reluctant to confirm if it was romantically. He told Nova Star 104.5’s Gina and Matty, “I’ll give you a little bit of a thing…we were out last night.

“It’s amazing when we go to random pubs in the middle of nowhere. How many people actually love Lu. She’s just one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met. You can’t help but soften and just be a better person around Lu.”
