Bournemouth have recalled goalkeeper Mark Travers from his loan spell at Stoke City after first-choice keeper Neto suffered an ankle injury.
Following Neto’s injury, the Cherries had an exceptional circumstances recall request approved by the Premier League.
On-loan Inter Milan keeper Andrei Radu will make his Premier League debut in Saturday’s home game against Burnley.
Cherries head coach Andoni Iraola said Neto will be out “at least until the international break” but hopes he will be available immediately after.
Without Travers, the Potters will turn back to last season’s number one Jack Bonham for this weekend’s trip to Middlesbrough.
Bonham has made two appearances in the Carabao Cup this term.
“We would like to thank Mark for his contribution during his time as a Stoke City player, during which his performances have shown his Premier League calibre,”saidexternal-link Stoke technical director Ricky Martin.
