Marjorie Taylor Greene Gloats Over Roe v. Wade Ruling: ‘Our God is Bigger’

Marjorie Taylor Greene has praised the report suggesting that the Supreme Court is backing overturning the landmark abortion rights ruling Roe V. Wade.
In a series of tweets, the Georgia Congresswoman expressed her support for the majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito, which concludes that the court is prepared the overturn the 1973 case which legalized abortion across the country.
Among the tweets posted by Greene include an image of a crowd gathered outside the Supreme Court in Washington D.C. with the caption: “Our God is bigger.”
The draft document, obtained by Politico, alleges SCOTUS have voted to strike down Roe v. Wade, with Alito declaring the ruling “egregiously wrong from the start.”
“It’s reasoning was exceptionally weak, and the decision has had damaging consequences. And far from bringing about a national settlement of the abortion issue, Roe and Casey have enflamed debate and deepened division,” Alito added.
“The inescapable conclusion is that a right to abortion is not deeply rooted in the Nation’s history and traditions.”
If confirmed, the 98-page draft opinion obtained by Politico does not mean that the decision is final and that the ruling on Roe V. Wade may still alter when the court rules on the case in late June or early July.
This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
