Marjorie Taylor Greene and Don Jr. agree, ‘Buy ammo’ to counter ‘Day of Rage’
Day of Rage #DayofRage
The call for an international “Day of Rage” by Hamas has some influencers urging that Americans hit the gun store and range to load up on ammo and brush up on defensive shooting.
“Buy ammo,” tweeted Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who sometimes touts her shooting ability online.
ISRAEL WAR: HAMAS TERRORIST ATTACK PUT DEMOCRATIC SUPPORT FOR ALLY TO THE TEST
“Buy guns and ammo,” Donald Trump Jr. said. “Don’t stop there. Get yourself some training. There are tons of great patriotic local small businesses who can teach you to be proficient and safe.”
Anecdotally, Secrets has heard that sales are up this week due to the Hamas terrorist attack in Israel and the group’s urging for a “Day of Rage” tomorrow during which supporters are supposed to target the “people of Israel.”
Justin Anderson, the marketing director for one of the nation’s largest gun stores, Hyatt Guns of Charlotte, North Carolina, said he has seen a buying spurt, especially of AR-15s.
“We have definitely seen the early stages of a surge, and we expect it to continue to grow in the days and weeks to come. AR-15 sales, which have been stagnant over the last few months, are growing significantly. These barbaric and sad events in Israel illustrate the seriousness of personal protection. So much so that I’m hearing the Israeli government is making it significantly easier for its citizens to arm themselves. Those that are trying to limit firearm ownership in this country should take note,” said Anderson, who regularly updates Secrets with reports about gun and ammo sales.
“Defensive ammo is selling quickly, and .223 (used in AR platforms) is getting sold faster than we can make it,” said Justin Nazaroff, the CEO of Michigan-based Fenix Ammunition.
Officials in Washington and around the country have urged people to be on alert tomorrow.
And some Jewish schools around the world are closing.
In Washington, lawmakers are expected to leave for the weekend in the morning, and in the House, where a vote has been delayed on choosing the next speaker, Greene is calling for an immediate recess.

“We need to either vote now on the House floor or let us leave today. Do not make us all travel tomorrow on Hamas’s announced global day of jihad. And we all know we aren’t going to be here this weekend,” she urged GOP leaders Thursday afternoon.
Earlier today she wrote on X, formerly Twitter, “With tomorrow declared a global day of jihad by Hamas, heightened security around the Capitol, and a dozen protests planned in DC with only one of them being Pro-Israel, if we are not going to vote today for a Speaker, why don’t we just go home and regroup next week? I’ll buy ammo while I’m home.”
