In December 2020, Maria opened up on the health of her parents, and she was not delivering the best of news. Speaking of mom Litsa, already diagnosed with stage 4 cancer by this stage, Menounos stated: “We got some not some not so great news on Monday, November 23, that my mom’s brain tumor was growing.”
Having to fly out after her mother’s caretaker got sick, Maria added: ” Long story short is that within a few hours, both of my parents were diagnosed with COVID.” More below.
