Marcus Rashford scored his 23rd goal of the season for Manchester United to fire his team 1-0 up against Leicester on Sunday.

Rashford beat keeper Danny Ward with a confident drilled finish after being assisted by Bruno Fernandes.

The 25-year-old has now scored more club goals this season than in any of his previous seven campaigns in United’s first-team.

Rashford’s most prolific season had been 2019/20 when he scored 22 goals in 44 games.

His first 23 goals in the current campaign have come in just 36 matches.

Rashford only netted five times in 32 matches last season.
