Man Utd fans taunt Erling Haaland with ‘most embarrassing thing ever heard’ before chant immediately backfires
Haaland #Haaland
MANCHESTER CITY superstar Erling Haaland put a few Manchester United fans in their place as he led his team to a 3-0 triumph after an “embarrassing” chant.
Haaland hit the back of the net twice in Sunday’s derby demolition at Old Trafford, but his first must have felt extra sweet for the star striker.

Some Man Utd fans taunted Haaland’s father before he opened the scoring
City won a penalty in the first half after United star Rasmus Hojlund appeared to have wrapped his arm around Rodri inside the area at a corner, and the Norway international stepped up to take the spot-kick.
As the 23-year-old prepared to face the Red Devils’ goalkeeper Andre Onana, some home fans were heard chanting, “Haaland, Haaland how’s your dad” and “Keano, Keano”.
That was in reference to the infamous clash between his father Alf-Inge Haaland and United legend Roy Keane in 2001.
That Manchester Derby became famous as Keane took Haaland Sr out by raking his studs to his opponent’s knee with brute force when the Norwegian played for City.
The former midfielder’s knee was never the same again, and he made just four substitute appearances the following season before having to retire aged just 30.
Nevertheless, Haaland Jr maintained his composure and sent Onana the wrong way as he opened the scoring on 26 minutes to silence those fans.
The centre-forward went on to complete a brace in the 49th minute before setting Phil Foden up for City’s third 10 minutes before full-time.
And fans took to social media to show their support for the Citizens’ talisman.
