ANTHONY MARTIAL was cheered off the pitch after being substituted during Manchester United’s Premier League clash with Bournemouth.

The Frenchman put on another lacklustre display before being hauled off in the 56th minute.

And as he was making his way back to the dugout, he received a huge round of applause – for all the wrong reasons.

Fans at Old Trafford appeared to be thrilled that Martial was substituted following his below-par performance.
