Latrell #Latrell
NSW legend Andrew Johns has lauded Blues centre Latrell Mitchell for his ability to make the best players in the world look ordinary as calls grew for him to win the Wally Lewis Medal.
Mitchell was involved in three pieces of brilliant play early in game three that gave the Blues the early advantage and the first try of the night.

Mitchell was one of the Blues best in games one and two, with Brad Fittler praising him for his involvement and commitment in the effort areas of the game and it was more of the same early at Cbus Super Stadium.
The 24-year-old was the catalyst for a heads-up defensive play and two excellent solo runs early in Origin III, one of which resulted in him scoring the first try of the night as he ran rings around the Queensland defence.
“We highlighted in the pregame just the talent of Latrell Mitchell and how he’s the X factor for NSW,” Johns said on Channel 9.
