Majority of Ukrainians view Poland as key ally in the war, poll shows

Among foreign leaders who played a crucial role in supporting Ukraine, respondents also named Polish PM Andrzej Duda (50%), former UK PM Boris Johnson (49%), and French President Emmanuel Macron (10%). Next on the list were German Chancellor Olaf Scholz (9%) and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan (6%). Closing the list were President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen (4%) and Canadian PM Justin Trudeau (4%).

Respondents also identified the countries they think played an important role in supporting Ukraine, with 68.5% naming Poland, the United States (67.4%), and the UK (45.5%). Germany, Lithuania, and Latvia followed at 17.6%, 12.4%, 11.6%, respectively.
