Married at First Sight Australia stars Ollie Skelton and Tahnee Cook have announced their break-up after 16 months together.
The reality TV stars were matched together on season 10 of the hit Australian dating series. During the show’s final commitment ceremony Ollie and Tahnee confirmed they were still together, with Ollie later relocating to Sydney to live with Tahnee.
On Wednesday (December 13), Ollie shared a statement on his Instagram account confirming the two’s separation.

“Hello, Tahnee and I have split up. It’s sad, but it’s okay,” began Ollie’s post.
“What a ride! A journey filled with love, laughter, challenges, and in the last month, reflection. I think we tried really hard to make it work.”
The MAFS groom revealed the reason for their split was adjusting to life in the real-world after the show experience.

“There is such a separation from Skye Suites to real life that I think is really hard to account for and (albeit not without trying) was an adjustment that we struggled to make,” he continued.
“I kinda have this pipe dream of us being like Jerry and Elaine from Seinfeld post-breakup, a very hard thing to do obviously, but the sentiment at its core is that I plan to try to be someone who champions Tahnee and can be there for her as a friend.”
Signing off, Ollie made reference to a video of the two dancing together which he shared alongside the couple’s statement.

Fellow MAFS contestant Melinda Willis, who recently split from MAFS husband Layton Mills in October, also commented: “This post though too sad I can’t watch! Just devo for this flame to have gone out.”
Following Ollie and Tahnee’s breakup, there are now no original couples from MAFS Australia season 10 that are still together.
